Accessibility
Last updated: June 25, 2026
Shrinktionary should be usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, or other assistive technology.
Our commitment
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, known as WCAG, version 2.2, at Level AA. In practice that means we work to keep text readable and high in contrast, to make the whole site navigable by keyboard, to give images meaningful descriptions, to keep headings and page structure clear, to keep focus indicators visible, to make interactive controls a comfortable size, and to make sure the site works across a range of screen sizes and with reduced motion.
Ongoing improvements
Accessibility is treated as continuous work, not a one-time audit. We review color contrast, semantic landmarks, focus management, mobile menu behavior, and keyboard support as we add new pages and components, and we welcome reports that point us at anything we've missed.
Where we fall short
Parts of the site may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.2 AA. If you find something on Shrinktionary that's hard to read, hard to navigate, or doesn't work with your assistive technology, we want to hear about it.
